As the final month of summer comes to a close, I am heartbroken for a lot of things...
Well, it sure looks like we are in the final days of the final month of summer, which happens to be August, and with the way things are with this entire world right now, nothing has ever changed, at least not for a very long while. However, even though this has been a summer of difficulty for all of us, we have tried as best as we could to make the best out of this season. Meanwhile, with one season in the background and another one on the way, we are in fear of facing the unknown yet again…
As I have mentioned this I think a few times before, fall is supposed to be a season that is filled to the brim with all sorts of fun, fall-related activities; unfortunately, we don’t have anywhere else to go in which we could enjoy fall, because people are forced to cancel those fall events due to the ongoing pandemic that is still raging at all of us, and that we are still waiting for that day for it to finally end. I do not know about you, but I am still pretty heartbroken over being furloughed from my food service job, and only the Lord God knows when I would ever return.
I am also heartbroken for the fact that I had to endure every single news report of every cancellation of every event; If you want to know what I had been heartbroken for, well, let me tell you…

I am heartbroken for the cancellations of Dover Days in Dover, DE, the Kite Festival in Lewes, DE; I am heartbroken for the cancellations of the Dover 4th of July celebration, as well as for Dover Comic Con’s cancellation. I am heartbroken for the Peach Festival in Camden, DE, and its cancellation as well. I am also heartbroken for the everlasting closures of the Dover Public Library and many a school in Dover, DE. I am heartbroken for the many people who have lost a loved one to COVID-19, and I am also heartbroken for the fact that millions of people have lost their jobs due to COVID-19.
And do you want to know something else? I am heartbroken for the fact that our President has done absolutely NOTHING about this; He has done nothing to save our country from this terrible pandemic. He has done nothing to help us who have been furloughed or laid off. He has done nothing to comfort those who have lost a loved one due to this horrible virus. And furthermore, our President has done absolutely NOTHING to help us in this great country of ours, because he does not ever care about us. All he cares about is himself and his own fame and notoriety, rather than the needs of the American people.
Our country, especially my home in the state of Delaware, has had to take all of those drastic measures to slow the spread of the virus because our President has failed us in protecting this great country of ours because all he cares about is himself. We need a real, true leader who will help us get through this crisis, someone who will pull us out of this darkness. On November 3rd, we shall have a chance to vote for a real, true President who will lead this great nation out of these dark times with true leadership, and not greed or selfishness. Our current President has tried to make America great again, but now he has made it as very worse as ever before, and do you know why? Because we were played for a fool, and our President IS that fool.

My friends, it is time to elect a very important leader and not a fool. We shall very well do so on November 3rd.
