A recap of last night's New York Yankees/Toronto game.
When the Toronto Blue Jays faced the New York Yankees last week, the team was swept three games.

Last night, the Jays got a bit of a revenge by hammering the Yankees 11-5.

New York went up 1-0 at the top of the second inning when Gio Urshela drove in Gleyber Torres with a single.

In the bottom of the third inning, the Jays scored five runs.

First, Bo Bichette drove in Aljandro Kirk with a single.

Teoascar Hernandez drove in Cavan Biggio with a single.

Randal Grichuk drove in Bichette with a single to put the Jays ahead 3-1.

Then, Vladmir Guerrero Jr. hit a two run double.

In the bottom of the fourth inning, the Jays scored four more runs.

Bichette drove in Kirk with a single,

Hernandez drove in Jonathan Davis with a single.

Biggio scored on a double play to make it 8-1 Jays.

Then, Guerrero Jr. drove in Bichette with a double.

In the bottom of the sixth inning, Grichuk hit a solo home run.

At the top of the seventh inning, Torres scored on a ground out.

In the bottom of the seventh inning, Kirk hit a solo home run.

At the top of the ninth inning, Mike Tauchman hit a three run double.

Guerrero Jr. went three for three at the plate and had three RBIs.

Jay's starting pitcher, Matt Shoemaker, went three innings, allowing three hits, an earned, two walks, and struck out a batter.

Tauchman went 1 for 1 at the plate and had three RBIs.

Yankee's starter, Michael King, went 2.2 innings, allowing five hits, five earned runs, a walk, and struck out six batters.

The two teams play again tonight.
