A contest entry.

Nine join to become nine players,
Eight chances to win,
Nine people wear nine layers,
And the game begins.

Nine players are kept apart, until the start,
Nine has three rules,
Nine players are bred to be scarily smart,
Nine isn't for fools.

Nine's first rule is, The nine players give consent.

Nine's second rule is; Players wear nine layers of clothing.

Nine's third and final rule is; Each of the nine pieces of clothing has the number nine on.

The aim of the game is kept in a shrine;
To strip your opponents of their nine clothes,
To do this you must tear off the number nine,
And then you must break nine of their toes.

If you are the first to lose Nine,
You are drowned in cheap wine,
Then the surviving eight, out of fear,
Get to play Nine again, next year.
