Don’t Want To Know

You don’t want to know me.
I scream out too loud.
You don’t want to know me.
I dream, I’m too proud.
I sit out on a rafter.
Up high in the sky.
You don’t want to know me.
You want to know why?

You don’t want to know me.
I moan in the dark.
You don’t want to know me.
I roam in the park.
I seek out laughter.
Alone with a voice.
You don’t want to know me.
And I have no choice.

You don’t want to know me.
I don’t look like you.
You don’t want to know me.
I don’t cook like you.
I eat in the kitchen.
Consume what I please.
You don’t want to know me.
I’m like a disease.

I don’t want to know you.
You scream out too loud.
I don’t want to know you.
You dream out too proud.
You sit out on a rafter.
Up high in the sky.
I don’t want to know you.
And now I know why.
