Wisdom for today based on a musical prophet teaching peace, soon lost to violence.
"You may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one"
Whatever life we can imagine, with effort can be won.
Look at all the people, protesting for change to come.
A sea of colorful faces, want fairness with justice done.

Lennon believed in peaceful protest against a dirty war.
He and Yoko held a Bed In for love, not guns to settle a score.
If he could be here now, he would lead a peace walk for more.
Awareness for compassion, justice, change not to just ignore.

John was hunted himself by our American “justice league”.
Hoover tried to deport Lennon, wear him out with battle fatigue.
I can feel John’s strong presence, himself a victim of a violent siege.
A talented man who made music, peace and cultural mystique.

So here we are, at a time when families gather close.
Fighting a war with a deadly virus that was hard to diagnose.
We look to science and God for answers, this is no silly hoax.
Lennon would say, “Loving each other heals, music gives hope".

Dreamers are always needed to reach for the sky.
Let’s look at this world we live in,
work to make it better for you and I.
