A person's experience of a tree.
It begins as a tree, but it is something hidden.

It is like a memory, but it no longer exists.

I can feel, but I cannot breathe.

That touch is inside of me.

I woke up at 3 o'clock with the wind shaking.

I wasn't in my bed. When I woke up, I saw myself in a forest.

I tried to move, but I was paralyzed.

I could see the leaf's colors changing in my mind's eye.

Each color seemed like a new dream.

Each color represented what I could feel.

But then, those leaves would fade away.

I would forget everything.

With just one blink, it was winter.

There was a blizzard, I was cold, frozen inside.

It was such a bleak December, I wished there was some light.

Then one day, my wish came true.

The snow melted, allowing the warm spring to come through.

The leaves that faded were replaced.

My blood raced as I was no longer frozen.

I could see the flowers, the sun, the sea.

When it rained, It was like a free drink, I was happy.

When it flooded, I was scared I was drowning.

The next morning, the sun shined, and the water had disappeared.

The leaves grew back in a glowing color of green.

I was always so hot and felt too dry.

Most of the water I had was gone. I was thought I was going to die.

Then I woke up in my bed, wondering why I had such a dream.

But when I fell back asleep, I remembered I was that tree.
