The depth of feeling only descends
like exploring a vast, blue ocean
I am unaware of where it ends
Thus my fate is always in motion
Perhaps until my final days
When the darkness has become light
As brilliant as the sun's rays
Only then will my soul take flight
For now it is grounded in the earth
Entwined in and about the human ecosystem
Constantly receiving and giving birth
To newfound thoughts and wisdom
Nonetheless, I am often still a fool
Bound by the paradoxical chains of youth
And my eyes covered by a thick wool
that I have placed between me and the truth
Beams of light have torn their way through
Oh how bright and blinding they are!
Perhaps because of my own doing they accrue
Soon enough the wool shall be all but marred
