|The Toronto Maple Leaf's wheels fell off in the third period last night as the Vancouver Canucks won 4-2.
"I thought we had an excellent start to the third period," said Leaf's head coach, Sheldon Keefe at the postgame press conference.
Brock Boeser opened the scoring for Vancouver at 4:39 of the first period.
John Tavares tied the game at 15:56.
Toronto out shot Vancouver in the first period 15-9.
Jimmy Vesey put Toronto ahead 2-1 at 3:04 of the second period.
"Our second period wasn't good at all," said Keefe.
At 8:49 of the third period, Bo Horvat tied the game.
Vancouver went ahead 3-2 when J.T. Miller scored at 9:31.
Nils Hoglander capped it off with a goal at 16:53.
Both Boeser and Miller had a three point night.
Canuck's goalie, Thatcher Demko had another good night in net, stopping 37 shots.
Toronto has two days off before hosting the Winnipeg Jets on Tuesday night.
