The seasons’ affections
|Winter wraps a warm blanket
around loved ones
gathered round the fire
and sipping smooth cocoa.
Spring brings new mother’s love
As she swaddles the newborn; a symbol
of life and innocence
in an overly complex world,
Summer organizes a whole
vacation season with promise of activities,
promoting togetherness through the quality time spent
together with each other.
Autumn arrives spelling out the time
when warmer hugs and sleeping in
on colder days will be observed.
Love in the form of hugs fuels this season.
