Dear Mrs. Kirkland,
By combining old school fundamentals with innovative, hands-on methods of learning, and state-of-the-art modern technology students in my classroom excel and far exceed the majority of other children of similar age. By focusing on teaching children how to think as opposed to what to think, I give my students a superior lifelong edge needed to thrive in today's world.
I have written and designed a complete curriculum designed to motivate and captivate young impressionable minds. Rather than suppress their natural, God-given instinct to explore, question, and prove the world around them, I offer them the tools and best methods of getting what they want with speed and efficiency.
With this in mind, I have re-designed my classroom and if appointed to this position, will ask that room modifications are complete before the first class begins. I will also expect and insist all parents of the children in my class to read carefully my introduction packet and sign it, agreeing to the terms and conditions stated therein. Education, first and foremost, starts at home, and I expect each and every parent to do their part. Any parent who does not sign or agree, their student will have to be removed from my class.
As my resume shows, I have undisputed success in harnessing the potential of students labeled with ADD or ADHD or behavior issues. It would be to your academy's best interest if those particular students are enrolled in my class. Attached, you will find my resume complete with references. If you have any questions or need further information, kindly contact me.
Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to hearing from you and hopefully, working with you this school year.
