Jay's manager, Charlie Montoyo told his team after the yesterday's game not to get too discourage because Tampa is a really good team right now.
"Everything is going their, (Tampa's) way," said Montoyo at the postgame press conference.

In the bottom of the fourth inning, Teoscar Hernandez tied the game with a solo home run.
At the top of the fifth inning, Tampa went ahead 2-1 when Francisco Mejia hit a solo home run.
The Jays tied the game again when Hernandez drove in Bo Bichette with a single.
In the bottom of the eighth inning, Randal Grichuk hit a two run homer.

First, Brett Phillips drove in Ji-Man Choi with a single.
Then, the Jays walked in three runs.
Margot went two for four at the plate and had two RBIs.
Ray's starting pitcher, Michael Wacha went two innings, allowing a hit, no earned runs, no walks, and struck out a batter.
Hernandez went three for four at the plate and had two RBIs.
Jay's starting pitcher, Hyun-Jin Ryu went 6.2 innings, allowing eight hits, two earned runs, a walk, and struck out seven batters.
