You've found freedom when you realize that nobody cares.
There’s a special freedom in the realization that nobody cares. That all of your screaming and crying and crying and begging for somebody – anybody – to care is in vain, because nobody hears you. Rage and pity melt away, leaving nothing behind and new beginnings ahead.

Speeding down the Interstate in the afternoon sun, with happy rock tunes, blue sky, and sunshine as my companions. The summer air has blown it all away: the traffic, the worry, the problems. I’m heading anywhere, everywhere, nowhere. It doesn’t matter. Nobody hears and now, I don’t either. The slate is wiped clean.
