A good friend doesn’t let you be stupid

I’m sorry, but it’s true.

Astrid had no idea what she was missing. Ruffnut tried describing him—not her type, even with his jawline—, but for whatever reason, Astrid didn’t trust her.

Ruff, you think every guy is hot. Scott, Eret, and Dagur were all perfect for me, and they were all in love with themselves. You can go stare at their abs. I’m busy. Besides, I have a date with Stormy.

Dog sitting doesn’t count as a date.

Sending Astrid on a date with Ruff’s cousin was the final straw. Ruff didn’t trust Griffin, but Astrid needed more excitement in her life, and Griffin had that. He stole her cell phone, then promised to give it back for “a little kiss, sweet cheeks.”

Griff was still paying off the dental work.

Astrid didn’t speak to her for three weeks after that, and Ruffnut had to swear in front of witnesses she wouldn’t set Astrid up on any more blind dates.
