To Fly

To fly is to soar,
unfettered by words,
high above sentences
with those hurtful verbs.

To fly is to be free
from adjectives of scorn.
No ties to the ground
or punctures of thorns.

To fly is to believe
you can do an impossible,
write a book, paint a picture,
attain dreams improbable
