getting into a good habit
|Just as your muscles can ache after a good workout, I guess your mind can ache after putting something "on paper". I want to get into the habit of writing something everyday, if for nothing else than to exercise and broaden my mind.|
Sure, they say, just write something down! Easier to do lunges with your legs at times, than to fill a paper with something meaningful.
What if I don't get into shape? What if I write something truly terrible?
Well, what if I don't even try? There is always that. Better to try and fail, than to never try at all. Perhaps...LOL
I think about weird things, at times. Doing PT after having been in the hospital. Finding and reveling in a new writing community here at WDC. I somehow connect these things in my head. So here I am, writing, practicing. hoping for the best.
I may never publish the Great American Novel, and I may never win a Marathon, but at least I showed up and was willing to expose my weaknesses and hopefully strengths.
