Love Forever

From the hilltop view
Neither saw the river nor the stream,
I saw none but you,
I began to see you in my dream.

It took a few months to settle down,
I spent those days anxiously.
You wore your gorgeous wedding gown,
You became my wife, finally.

Fifty years went by, and we made for each- other.
Family rising with our children
We mentored them but took care of others.
Happiness is showering as rain.

Our partnership will remain intact until my death.
I will promise to take your name before my last breath.
