A wingless eagle in the nest with her eaglets


Lost collection full of fallen feathers
None will ever carry them untethered
Mother eagle watches down below the nest
Fate will leave her feathered wings to everest
Eaglets chirp the music learned from motherest
Enter ears of listeners that failed to rest
Fatal air for flight unable to ingest
