A Couple Of Kings

There is a story in the bible about a couple kings.

Hot and thirsty in the desert where the clouds no water brings.

The men and the beasts were on a long, drawn out journey.

Running low on hydration and starting to feel thirsty.

They didn't know what to do so they reached out to our creator.

Waited for a sign or directions of what they should do later.

Listening to intuition it came to the prophet Elijah.

What he said to the other guy that day will probably surprise ya.

God told them to dig ditches though there was no rain in sight.

They had faith and both dug ditches well into the night.

Fell asleep and woke up and what did they find you think?

Ditches full of water plenty for all to drink.

You never have to fear a thing by trusting God having faith.

The ditches provided somewhere for water to accumulate.

Don't panic when in trouble always turn to God instead.

Digging the ditches showed God faith.

Faith without works is dead.
