This is a fantasy story about "fighters" in the land of Tokan.

The dragon fire almost scorched their armor!

It's too late, Dax said with a frantic voice.

We can't continue to run, Jules shouted out! We HAVE to stand and fight

Jules reaches into his pocket!

AH HA!

This holographic card has just enough magic power to work.

Jules just summoned his most powerful monster, The Wise Man's Leviathan. This monster is complete with 2000 attack points and a special magic spell.

The magic from Jules' card stops any monster attack.

So, with that, Jules' proud shout of magic stops the Lord Dragon in his scaly tracks. The attack power overtakes the reptilian foe!

WHEW!! That was a hot mess we go into, said Dax!

Not funny, Jules remarks.

Why would the Lord Dragon attack us?

I don't know, says Jules. It's good I had that card on me, Phire must have known we would need it.

Phire, the wizard of Doshar, visited our two friends before they left the city. He congratulated the duo on their most recent victory, whereafter he rewarded them both with Majesty cards.

The Majesty cards that Phire gave them were some of the best cards in Tokan.

The Tokan province was famous for it's brilliant tournament of fighters. These "fighters" played a card game, where "fighters" used cards filled with monster, wizards, and magic spells to fight with.

Each card has value, being handed down from generations of the Tokan people.

Phire happens to be one of the Doshar's last elders. He is assumed to have the best cards. Legend has it that his great grandfather created the game as well as the majority of the cards.

The cards cast a holographic spell, releasing its particular power.

Most cards start with 200 attack or magic points. The Lord Dragon had 1500 attack points. Thankfully, the Wise Man's Leviathan card Jules belonging to Jules had 2000 attack points.

So, the question is, who else in Tokan would have such a powerful card like the Lord Dragon in their possession?

The Wise Man's Leviathan is said to be the most powerful card in Tokan. And Dax's Hammer of Conee was worth 1800 points that he received from Phire.

Phire rewarded Dax and Jules that could challenge any foe in Tokan.

Dax and Jules, still stunned by the attack of the Dragon Lord, made their way back to Doshar.

They needed to know why a friendly spirit card attacked them.

Phire, upon hearing this startling news, hangs his head. He confesses that the Lord Dragon card belonged to his great grandfather. It was among the first cards his great grandfather Donji created.

The Lord Dragon was created to be a friendly spirit card to aid Tokan's magicians. But such a powerful card had to be kept out of evil hands.

Why?

The cards are rumored to take on the personality of their owner.

Donji and Phire, being pure of heart, furthered the good quality of the Lord Dragon card.

This can only mean the current holder of the Lord Dragon card has horrible intentions.

It was good you got away, stated Phire. But HE will be back!

WHO, said Dax and Jules?

The Surna king!

The Surna king?

Yes, he is a tragic figure of yesteryear trying to use the Majesty cards for an evil purpose.
