Sitting in a square
People pass me by
Treating me as a fly

There to sit on
Or even just to lean on

When feet are tired
Or the sun gets hired
The tide rolls in
Tossing me into a spin

There should be a plaque
Hanging on my back
One that tells a history
Yet mine is still a mystery
