Call me a night Owl

Night unveils its strange design,
And so, I emerged, unbound by mind.
Time's rigid grasp did not define
Life's rare expanse, forever entwined.

Your hands, a canvas, richly dripped,
Moments, on intention's wing, then slipped.
Fingertips sang, a melody unstopped,
Thought's silent beams, from diverse dreams, then dropped.

Eroding shores where memory's roots hold fast,
You knew my dreams, in platinum cast.
When visions washed, and all had been seen,
Looming to blossom, your youth serene.

Within my mind's deep core, you made your claim,
Meant to be quiet, dark, and fan the flame.
What drove my days to madness's embrace?
A nascent art, beyond the heart's swift race.
