Born Again “WOO WOO.” “You don’t scare me.” “Am I not doing it right?” “Yes and no. You are wooing right, but woo woo is like ‘Hi how are you?’ Not scary.” “Oh. I thought it sounded scary …” “Probably because you didn’t know it was ‘hello’ did the bird say anything else? “What’s a bird?” “You are…” “I’m a bird? Are you sure?” “Well, yes… you’re small, you have wings, feathers. That’s pretty much bird stuff.” “Are you a bird?” “No, a person. I like birds though. There are lots of kinds of birds here. Why don’t you know this already? You look like a grown up…” “I am a grown-up! Well, I was, I only turned into a bird recently…” “How?” “My friend… former friend… got mad at me and turned me into a bird…” “What did you do?” “I ate his pie…” “He turned you into a bird for eating his pie?” “Well, in his defense, he told me not to eat it, but it looked so yummy…” “And he turned you into a bird?” Just then a voice came up from behind, “He turned himself into a bird because that pie was made to turn someone into a bird! It’s not my fault that he ate it first!” “Andrew!” the bird said, “I’m sorry! I was so hungry and the pie looked so good!” “It’s OK. I shouldn’t have made it anyway. I was just so angry with Payton, I wanted to punish her!” “What did she do?” the owl said, popping back into a person. “She didn’t want to go out with me.” “I’d go out with you!” said the girl, “can you show me more tricks?” “That I can…” “What about me?” asked the former bird… “Be a bird!” Andrew said, and owl was born again |
