Life and Death talking to a person.

I am your Life,
Radiant and bright.
I loved your wife,
Her light is so bright.

But I am your death,
Full of pain.
I carry your final breath
With casual disdain.

We are your conscience,
We know your Life's been hard.
With your absence,
Death would not play his cards.

But now you are here,
Between Life and Death.
Don't feel so queer,
Here, your time is like a wreath.

It blooms, then fades
As quickly as I brought it.
So let our info not be delayed,
For it is a gift.

Life only gets harder,
And more painful.
Especially as you get older,
Though you should be grateful.

Oh, shut it, you!
This should come as a shock!
Though it is true,
Life's no walk around the block.

But you are resilient,
And I have more cards to play.
Some of them are brilliant,
But that's what I say.

Our time is ending,
But I hope this helped.
Seems you are fading,
To where pain was first felt.

You must die first,
To join our club.
But before you do so out of thirst,
It's time to wake up.
