A poem about being in love, and the ways love can be experienced and expressed

I hear your love
I hear it in every "I love you"
but also, in the way you say my name
I hear it in the way you speak to me softly
I hear it in the way you comfort me when I'm upset
I hear it in your reassurance
I hear it in your laugh
In your grunts
In the way you ask to make sure I'm comfortable
I hear it in your soft whispers tickling my ear, and I feel it.
I feel your love too
I feel your love in the way you hold my hand
I feel it in the way you hold me
I feel it in the way you stroke my hair
In the way you hug me a little tighter when you've missed me
I feel it in your forehead kisses and the way you hold my face
I feel it in the way you touch me like I'm precious, but I also see it.
I see your love
In the way we argue over who gets the bigger portion
I see your love in the way you buy me little things here and there
I see it in the way you do my dishes without me asking, in the way you insist
I see your love in the way you look at me, like I'm the only important thing
I see it in the messages you send me, normal ones and the ones that are especially endearing
I see it in the Pinterest quotes you send me, the ones speaking of love that lasts through it all,
because I know ours will.
I smell your love sometimes too
In the way you shower so you smell good just for me
I smell your love in the food you make me
I smell it in the flowers you give to me
I smell your love on morning breath after a night spent together when you say, "Good morning love"
I smell your love in the tea you make me
I smell it when you make coffee in the morning
I feel your love in the smell of your arousal, but I taste it too.
It's true that I taste your love as well
I taste it in your kisses
I taste your love on your pebbled skin as I kiss it
I taste it in the little snacks you bring for me
I taste it on your tongue when I kiss you.
Maybe there aren't so many ways to taste love, but still I do.
No matter the day, no matter where I am, I always sense your love somewhere somehow.
My love, my future, my everything, I love you too.
