I Am Am I

I am not amphibian

if that is what
you're asking but

I feel human today
unlike the day before when
the term anathema

seemed to fit
even better but
there are times
when I

feel more like
a depleted enema or
the mutated version
of someone's dead sister,

complete with antlers
and toenails the length
of intestinal tracts.
