just a poem

Caught in me

I wear my skin like borrowed clay

It sticks, it shifts, It wont obey

I wash, I scratch, I try to flee

But it still clings, it wont let me be

I long to shed this sticky shell

To leave behind this cage I dwell

Yet every mirror, every seam

Reminds me I am caught in me
