In a world, what would cause it to end, and what could save it?

The world ends?

Isn’t that a fun thought;

How silly men and women like to play their games,

And ruin others, oh how smart!

They run and run and run around like little ants trying to gain,

It’s more, more, more!

Run, run, run!

Until there’s nobody left to play the game.

Does the art fade?

Does the stone crack?

Does the carrot fail to lead the donkey,

To the stick that’ll break its back.

Does man still eat and drink?

Does man have greed?

Man takes and takes and takes,

But there’s nothing left to give.

A word of warning,

To anyone who still cares,

A word of warning,

For someone still out there.

This world is ours,

That much is true,

But it doesn’t mean much,

If there’s nothing left of you.

So learn to be kind,

Learn to care,

Learn to listen,

To the people who aren’t there.

Because one day they’ll come,

Running as a fleet,

And one day they’ll come,

Because of their pride, and greed.
