Farewell poem to Lady, accepting the past and wishing a lost love strength

Hey Lady
There was a time when we were close
Like the times when we hanged out at nights
Walking a few miles away from home
Riding for hours on the road
Chit chatting all the way and back to home

Yes Lady
Like the times when we used to sing
Recalling all the songs back from the 90s
Watching romantic movies from time to time
Dancing a few times when we were alone
Holding our hands as we laughed

Oh Lady
I can't forget the times when you smiled
Or the times when you made me smile
Recalling all the sweet times we had
All the fun times we went through
Nothing else in the world got in our way
No one else could pull us apart

But Lady
Leaving me behind was the choice you made
"I maybe gone but you have to move on"
Is what you said
My reasons for you to stay
All the dreams we shared
You chose to leave it all behind

Yes Lady
All I ever did, is what you asked me to do.
Time made me accept my fate,
Though years may fly and seasons change,
We are still two souls,
Who once shared the very same dreams.

Yes Lady
We were a good match back then,
We shared the same goals,
Shared the same dreams.

But time always pushes us forward;
People always change.
Some come by and others leave behind—
It's just a way of life.
Too late to change the past, we have to live on.
And so, I am wishing you all the best in life.

Yes Lady
Be strong in these hard times
Be sure to smile all the time
Making the best of everytime
Smiling to the end of times.
