A poem about the perils of young love

Young love
Some consider it to be a myth
Others do not
Me, I think it depends on experience

When you’re young, there is pressure
To find someone to be with
And it can influence your heart
Puppy love is what it's called

With it you should be careful
Or you might grow up too fast
Missing out on life
And never finding yourself

When you get older
The pressure lessens
And you find yourself wanting
A companion instead a symbol

So if you find yourself
Young and in love
You should ask your heart
What you want from them
