My Gratitude for Everyone in Writing.com

I am grateful to WDC in more ways than one.

Brothers and Sisters,
Merry Christmas.

I am writing this essay to express my deep gratitude to everyone in WDC. I joined this great community just three months ago (on 23rd September 2025, to be precise). And already, I am getting showered with gifts left and right.

I am feeling utterly grateful. The reasons are manifold:

1. First reason is the helpful reviews I am regularly receiving from various members on my uploads. Their quality is consistently high. They praise the good points in my story/essay and also give me gentle suggestions for improvement.

And some of them, to my delight, go into such depths to analyse the pros and cons of my works...!

Not one review has been harsh or demeaning in any way. Rather, every one of them has added to my writing ability in some way or other.

SO, THANK YOU WDC.

2. Then comes the second, and a very big reason. Recently, I have been blessed with an upgraded membership. It means someone has been generous enough to donate for me to have this upgrade.

It is proving extraordinarily useful to me as, now, I can upload many more of my creations (fiction and nonfiction, both), sort them properly and then file them in appropriate folders.

The earlier portfolio limit of only ten uploads used to leave me crying. I had to rack my head as to which existing piece to delete to upload a new one. Hence, a new upload used to be quite a sad experience for me.

Now the situation has improved radically. It is as if some magic fairy were at work!

SO, THANK YOU WDC.

3. Third, even more recently, has come the gift of the Quill award nomination. It is like the proverbial cherry on the cake.

This is again a massive booster shot for me. It motivates me to continue creating good stories as well as uplifting essays, and to continue sharing them with all.

In a nutshell, WDC is a fantastic community filled with support, encouragement and handholding at every step. I am very happy!
