Friends, this is an interesting story themed on intuition. Thanks.

Sumana was a very intuitive person. It was her amazing experience that whenever she would need to decide among several options or find an answer to a question or locate something missing, her intuition would offer her an indicator, and later on, it would turn out to be the right course of action. Yes, her firm belief that her intuition was God within her was proved true on many occasions.

Sumana used to stay in a beautiful suburban villa in Delhi with her husband, Ravi, a software expert and Rohan, her 9-year-old son. As it happens, so many times, Ravi was the polar opposite of Sumana. He was a staunch rationalist and did not buy into any of the spiritual beliefs of his wife. On the contrary, he would often make fun of Sumana's intuitive flashes. To Ravi, all these things were plain illogical, and no rational person ought to give any credence to them. Initially, Sumana used to be grieved at her husband's frequent taunts. But with time, she got habituated and could keep a calm composure at all times.

It was the 31st of March, and all of them were going away on a week-long vacation to Singapore on the 15th of the next month. It was planned in response to the invitation issued six months ago by Mohana, Sumana's sister, living in Singapore. Her husband was working with an MNC there. Mohana had been asking them to come over repeatedly, but due to the pressures of Ravi's work, they could not go so far.

But Rohan's summer vacations would start from 5th April. At Sumana's absolute insistence bordering on an ultimatum, Ravi had no way but to agree to make the travel plan. Rohan's happiness knew no bounds. As soon as Ravi arranged for the visa and tickets, Sumana began packing for a fun-filled week ahead. The whole family was fired with zeal and enthusiasm for a much-deserved break from routine.

In due course, the date of the journey arrived. Ravi loaded all their luggage into their Ola taxi. Their flight to Singapore was due to depart from Delhi airport in three hours. The father and son were already seated in the taxi, and the driver had tooted his horn once or twice in impatience.

Yet, Sumana was still lingering in the house. Intuition was telling her that something vital was being left behind. Repeatedly, the words, "Victory… Victory… Victory" were flashing in her mind. But Sumana was unable to make any head or tail of these words. Once she thought that she would go to Ravi, inform him about her intuitive message and ask him to delay their journey a bit while they checked that everything needed was packed in their luggage.

But on second thought, Sumana decided against his course. It was because she knew that Ravi would not only laugh at her, but in this case, he would become positively angry, as they would be getting late for their flight. Therefore, she had no option but to shut down her intuitive voice, lock the main door, check that it was secured tight and then get into the waiting car. And their journey then began with much blowing of the horn and shouting of "Hip Hip Hurray" by Rohan.

It was while their taxi had crossed the halfway mark to the airport that Sumana could finally decipher what her intuition had been trying to tell her all along. The moment she received it, all questions about the validity of the first flash of her intuition got settled once and for all. Yes, now she understood that they had missed carrying the all-important letter of introduction in the form V39A, mandatory for the Singapore Visa requirement.

So, this was the meaning of the word "Victory" that her intuition was repeatedly flashing into her mind. The starting letter V was the critical piece of information, but of course, Sumana missed the cue then. Now she knew clearly.

Immediately, Sumana asked Ravi to stop the taxi and park it at the nearest parking spot. Then she called Mohana, explained the situation to her, and requested her to come to the Singapore Changi Airport with a printout of the required form. Mohana agreed at once.

It was fortunate that Sumana did so. Because if the form were not with them when they arrived in Singapore, all sorts of complications could have arisen. The worst would have been a possible deportation. Having done the needful, they resumed their journey. It was a big relief.

From this point onward, Ravi stopped taunting his wife about her intuitive flashes. This was, by far, the biggest relief for Sumana...!
