I have no idea what I’m doing and hate query letters

I am seeking representation for THE AURORA WITCH (88,000 words), a middle grade fantasy with crossgenerational appeal. It will appeal to fans of the lush imaginative world of Greenwild: The World Behind the Door by Pari Thompson and the mystery and the mystery-solving sibling duo of The Night Librarian by Christopher Lincoln.

Thirteen year old Millie has been taking care of her brothers ever since her mother’s death. All she wants is for the adults to stop treating her like a child—and keeping secrets. When her father, the renowned physicist, sends them to live with their aunt for the summer, Millie learns that Aunt Edith is a Green Witch. Her home, Juniper House, is a magical sentient cottage that grows rooms like branches on a tree. Unfortunately, this also means no WiFi.

Whisper Hollow becomes the backdrop for magical discovery—a community of magical immigrants brought together by a fading magical world and a love of puns. After Millie finds a mysterious book, she learns the identity of the one born with all twelve magical colors to vanquish obsidian magic. As Aunt Edith’s magic becomes more mysterious, Millie and her brothers embark on a relentless quest for the truth. But as Millie’s magic awakens, she faces a harder choice: accept her destiny or risk losing the magical world she’s come to love.

I have an associates degree in nursing and have been a critical care RN for ten years. My notable accomplishments include working in ICU during the pandemic and surviving a homeschool cult.
