My bestfriend of 11 years got married. These are my feelings.
In her dress, she glows like the golden sun dipped in mocha brown

I've never seen her so happy, yet it saddens me

She's leaving me behind to struggle alone

Our friendship shrivels with each passing moment until "the kiss" washes it away

I want to follow her down the winding path

With the music roaring and the happiness piercing my ears

I want to scream at her for letting our special love go

I want to cry because he makes her smile more than I do

His good looks and charm stole my heart away and led it down the aisle

Never once looking back at what was

So I take pictures, and I shake hands with a plastered smile on my tired face

While my insides shake from the darkness that I can't control
