An ode to the innocence of children, especially the female.
LITTLE BUDS

Do not blossom, little buds;
I wish you stay as you are.
You are sweet, lovely fairies
From a dreamy world afar.

Do not blossom, little buds.
Who says you are incomplete?
With vigour and enigma,
Verily you are replete.

Do not blossom, little buds;
Does it matter you are frail?
Frailty is power sublime,
Which, forever, will prevail.

Do not blossom, little buds,
Tender beauties innocent!
Cruel icy winds of world
Will one day make you repent.

Do not blossom, little buds.
Once open, you will be stale.
You will lose your fragrance and,
In enticing, you will fail.

Do not blossom, little buds;
Let not time on you settle.
For, once you declare the bloom,
Thorns will prick every petal.
