Edward Roper Whelan was born in 1986 near the central New Jersey shore. He was raised on David Bowie and The Beatles from his mother's record player. He was also a late 80's/early 90's fashion casualty and has photographic evidence (including neon biker shorts, bad bowl cuts and No Fear shirts with pogs taped on them). He is now a touring musician, avid writer/reader/painter and a self-professed Beat scholar.
