I am an amateur writer of fiction. Reality is so disappointing. I am part: teacher, monk, historian, environmentalist and futurist. My writing is mostly science fiction, science fantasy, steampunk romantic, some mystery all hopefully teaching the reader something. I love camping and canoeing which also end up in my stories. I do love to push boundaries and MAKE PEOPLE THINK. "What if?" is one of my favourite questions and inspiration for most of my writing. To paraphrase my favourite author, Frank Herbert, "Beginnings are a magical time."
