Dropped out of law and travelled. In the late 60s I was involved in the counter-culture scene in Sydney, mostly stage and music. Did a stint as a jackeroo and stockman (Australian cowboy). I also worked in geological exploration. I returned to the UK in 1977 and went back to University. Now I look after the horses, dogs and garden, write and play with my grandchildren.
