My favourite authors include D.H Lawrence, Conrad, Dostoyevsky, Henry James, Edith Wharton, M R James, Virginia Woolf etc. In my stories and poems, I am particularly concerned with and explore, the psychological aspects of fear in the classic ghost story. Like M R James, I try to evoke the typical, though unfortunately, long forgotten atmosphere of horror and tragedy that characterized late 19th century literature of this genre...
