Poem of path after storm

Storm Path by Apondia

Like a plucked sixth guitar string rumbles,
A distant drawn out lengthy grumble.

White hot flashing light,
Compressed atmospheric gripe.

Cracking, banging tree death.
Wind blows the storm West.

Sun rises in the East,
Like bread rises using yeast.

Branches strewn across the yard,
View of damage, landscape scared.

Bright birds singing,
chainsaw ringing.

Damaged wood pile grows,
Heat supply when it snows.

When giants of the forest fall,
Their seedlings will soon grow tall.
