The world will try to sell you half-love as romance, But don’t buy it.

Don’t settle for "almost"
For texts left on read,
For love that’s a footnote in someone else’s head.
You’re not a placeholder, a benchwarmer, a “maybe,”
Or a story they’ll tell when they’re bored at a party.

Destiny’s a crutch.
Soulmates aren’t found, they’re built.
Stop carving your worth into someone else’s guilt.
If they call you “complicated”
for asking for more, walk louder.
Your exit is the answer they ignore.

You don’t need to bleed to prove you can feel.
Real love isn’t cryptic
It’s a meal, not a riddle.
It’s showing up. Staying.
No asterisks, no haze.
If they can’t say “always,”
Let them choke on “someday.”

Cry if you need to
Grief’s just proof you’re alive.
But stop mistaking crumbs for a feast you deserve.
You’re not a backup plan,
A draft, or a “lesson.”
You’re the main character.
Act like it.

The world will try to sell you half-love as romance,
But don’t buy it.
