A look at experience of V.A.D.Voluntary Assisted dieing.

Goodbye, Farewell,Amen

In the quiet of a dim-lit room,
Where shadows cast their gentle gloom
A soul prepares to say goodbye

My battle fought it's time to die.
As family gather they all embrace
Knowing soon i will leave this place
I won my battles, but lost the war

There is no pain at heavens door.
Tears fall gently, one last embrace
My final breath, i leave this place
A family mourns, soul now free

A life once lived, now memory.
No longer chained by frailty’s hand,
I've journeyed to the promised land.
No fear remains, no need to fight,

Just peaceful sleep and endless light.
Though hearts are heavy, love stays near,
In whispered winds, I still appear.
So speak my name, remember me,

Not in the end, but joyfully
