The hymn of the colonists of the Arvad as they arrive in the Adalia system

Adalia! Born in flight,
A brilliant star in brilliant light!

Adalia! My mournful cries,
An empty hope for empty eyes.

Adalia! In anger screamed,
A shattered world of shattered dreams!

Adalia! My whispered plea,
A desperate cry for desperate need.

Adalia! To you I sing,
A tiny land for tiny kings.

---
The colonists of the multi-generational starship, Arvad, were forced to change course from their original destination to an alternate colony system. Along the way they learned the habitable planets of the Adalia system were actually just large asteroid fields. There was no big planet to call home, just thousands of resource rich asteroids. The entrepreneurs among them saw this as an opportunity.

Poem with for the online game Influence as part of their player-lead lore initiative.
