I realised something, and it inspired me to write this thing.

For most of my life, you were just in the other room
At the start, we shared a room
We shared a childhood

Recently, I’ve been feeling low and lonely
A misplaced feeling that I’m feeling only
What did I do when I felt this not good

in the past?

I’d take three steps and suggest, games?
Entire summers and snow days — playing games
Putting the world to rights. Brotherhood

But now you’re miles away
When we meet we can’t stay

for long

It’s okay, though. It’s understood
