When we celebrate life, death has no hold

I looked at the empty highchair and wiped tears from my face. Gregory had sat there what seemed like seconds ago. But twenty four years go by in a flash. Denise and Lisa would be over soon, and Lisa would take that place.

They say cancer never kills one person at a time; but Gregory held on to life for her first birthday, and today is Lisa's second . So I'll hold back the tears long enough to celebrate her little life; I'll cry for Gregory later. Life and love reallyare more powerful.

Gregory's legacy is here: Happy Birthday, Lisa!
