Why I joined WDC, and why am I still here?

Chance stumbled on this place inside my school library on 14th August 2005.

I don’t know what drew me in, but I instantly got attracted, and began surfing. My first handle was jomarchland.

Then forgot, and got a reminder to return.

I changed my Handle to Humming Bird, and posted my first item , a poem called World’s Apart.

Within 24 hours, I got my first review from Cookie ~ contemplatingareturn who was a yellow portfolio back then.

got introduced to the term called GPS through my first review, got even more hooked.

Started developing as a writer, posted more.

Gradually got to know how helpful this community was, entered contests, began winning.

When I made a few friends, SHERRI GIBSON (I miss her so so much) took me totally under my wings. I was her daughter’s age, and we both loved each other’s writings. I was also her rising star, and many more.

when I took up freelancing as a content writer, I used this portfolio to show samples to clients, I still do.

I look forward to making more friends, and I know for sure, that I’m gonna stay 20 more years if needed.
