Perplexed

Daily 9/4/2025 - Is it not time to put in your modern day slavery statements or something?

Wrote this one already.
By accident hit the x.
Threw my energy off.
Took a nap perplexed.

Woke up feeling inspired.
Dogs fighting outside.
That guy built a bridge.
It spanned the water wide.

He knew a boy was coming.
Had followed in his path.
His legs were much longer.
Past the boy up fast.

Had to cross a river.
Rapid current lived.
Easy for him to cross.
Can that young boy swim?

Rest of the day wasted.
Or so everyone else thought.
He spent it building a bridge.
Safely that boy would get across.
