Evil Desires: A United Force For Hope

A look at the need to reign in spending while funding lifesaving care & stay strong-a poem

Encircled by the Earth’s
Cringeworthy,
Cruel despots -
Heinous leaders
who imprison, torture,
And destroy their opponents
And hold phony elections
To maintain power;
Seeking military might
For global takeovers
Of an imperialistic nature
And political hegemony;
Overrunning the U.S. as the preeminent,
Economic entity through neighboring
Acquisitions of land and digital hacking
Of infrastructure;
Stealing the technological assets
Of our nation’s leading innovators
And developers;
And infiltrating the nation’s
Social networks with criminal teachings
While fueling the reckless pursuit
Of endless conflicts,
And distorting the results
Of our open and free elections
With wild conspiracy notions. 
An administration who seeks to violate
The rights of citizens and assimilated guests;
Poised to restore safety to both blue
And red cities and commit to military strength
To prevent future enemy and terrorist advances
On our way of life -
Fomenting retaliatory fear
Through the second amendment
Privilege while enforcing
The much needed background checks
Required by law to own a firearm;
And showing fair access to life-giving treatments
Through the continued funding
Of important aid and social programs -
Without deference to any race or sexual identity
Or gender acknowledgment -
And rewarding fit and functional taxpayer rates
And functional trade and domestic investments
To revolt against Chinese ownership
Of the means of technological
And medicinal products,
And in the meantime,
Facilitating energy production
On our separate and vital,
Institutionally and economically
Feasible shores…
