Deeper in thought and self I go.
Doorway appears behind bare, worn branches.
It opens, light appears,
Cautiously, I enter.


Guiding hands show the way,
Inner child wakes from a dream.
Petals open, ebbing, flowing,
Darkness fades as light renews.


Echoes of lives, dreams,
Struggle with restrictions,
Ridicule, shame.
Who am I? Reverberates.


Internal battles fought,
Ego, past, self,
Challenge to internal demons,
Suppressed by neglect.


Chains that bind, distort,
Turn, twist.
Are cut, shredded,
left behind.


Discovery beckons clarity
Embracing the child,
Embracing inner truths,
Embracing my authentic self.


I exhale and actualize.
An internal journey,
Guided by soft words,
Kindness, and music.
