A criminal body hopper is on the loose. It’s up to Detective Towns to put a stop to it.

In the modern age, crime has been on the rise with people finding new ways to violate the law. Police have their hands full tracking these criminals down and bringing them to justice. Everyday is a new battle and now, law enforcement face their greatest threat, The Hopper.

The Hopper is treated like an urban legend across the country in every police department. Stories of people having their bodies possessed and being forced to commit crimes have been rampant for years now. It’s grown hard to know what stories are true and which are just tales made up by criminals expecting to get out of trouble.

Over the past couple weeks, stories about The Hopper reappearing has been on the rise. It seems The Hopper has decided to bring their ability to Chicago with many law enforcement agents believing this is all connected to a much larger plan. One officer who believes in this theory is Detective David Towns.

David is a Chicago detective who’s been on the force for over 15 years. His father was a police officer who was tragically murdered by David’s aunt when David was a child. Losing his father at such a young age left a deep impact on the boy as he grew up with zero direction in life. His mother did her best to guide him but knew she couldn’t force anything on him. As David grew older, his mother noticed the similarities between him and his father and suggested joining the police force. Many years later, that suggestion was the best thing for David as he quickly shot up the ranks and found enjoyment in what he did. Now, David was facing his biggest challenge of his career as he planned to put an end to The Hopper and their reign of terror.

It was early in the morning at the station. The sun had barely risen as the department held their normal morning meeting. The police chief went over important talking points and dismissed everyone. As David was about to exit the conference room, the chief called out to him.

“Mr. Towns, I need to talk to you privately,” he said as he used his finger to motion for David to come over to him. David noticed this and walked to over the chief, Mr. Mark Brewer.

“What’s up chief? Did you need something?” David asked.

“I hear you’re poking around at The Hopper case. Care to share any leads you have?”

“Well we know right now that The Hopper is back but we don’t quite know what they’re back for. Right now, we plan to investigate a lead we have from a local nurse who reported to have had her body possessed by The Hopper. She mentioned something in her tip about medical equipment being placed in a van. Strange that The Hopper would steal something like that but we tend to believe perhaps the equipment is worth some good money on the second hand market.” Chief Brewer rubbed his chin.

“Hmmm interesting. So this bastard’s new hobby is stealing medical equipment. Go talk to the nurse and see if you can find out more about what they stole. Maybe it’ll give us a clue on where to look,” Chief Brewer stated as David just nodded his head.

“Yes sir, I’ll get right on it,” David said as he walked away and exited the room.
