Rubee the Rednosed Polar Bear

Up in the North Pole, lives a security force of polar bears who patrol the area of the workshop. The head of this force is Rubee. The largest female ever born in the region and offspring of the original head of security, Rudee.
She sucks on candy canes to try and relieve a problem. She has a chronic cold in her nose. This has made her nose so red, it glows brightly.
This year, Rudolph is about to be a father for the first time. He is such a nervous wreck, it has caused his nose to short out. It is two days before Christmas, and Santa is worried.
He sends out a call to other animals. The ones who come, are a disappointment. A large grey wolf tries to chew on the reindeer, so he’s out.
The biggest snowshoe hare tries out too, but he’s too hard to harness evenly with the rest. Finally, a weasel presents itself. He is worse problem than the hare regarding harnessing. All this time, Rubee disrupts the search with constant sneezing and snuffling; not to mention the neon red glow of her nose!
Santa notices her nose and dismisses any others The stable elves alter the front of the harness so Rubee can fit it. Like the reindeer, Rubee is able to fly using Christmas magic.
“Well, Rubee, we made a successful trip. As a reward, what would you like?” Santa said. She told him. By evening, she was on her way to three weeks in the tropics to get rid of her cold. But she took a supply of candy canes to snack on, so nothing changed.
“It’s a peppermint allergy,” Marcus Wellbee said when she returned, still ill. Mrs. Claus made caramel sticks for her instead.
